    Great with Comcast

    Great router and better than renting from com cast. 2 story house and reception good in all rooms. Had 11 people at house with phones, playing internet games and watching Netflix and transmission was great and never dropped communication.

    I read reviews on this product and purchased it thinking it would work in my house. Ive been very disappointed with the buffering and Mbps output. Ive ran tests everywhere in the house even sitting 5 feet from the box and never gotten higher than 129 Mbps on any reading from the nighthawk app. Im trying to replace the xfinity modem/router combo and this isnt the answer for my place. I waited to long to bring back to Best Buy to exchange so now im stuck with a useless product.

    it is supposed to be a faster modem, seems just as fast as our old one and this one over heats faster.

    Returned router modem to the store caused network problems with Comcast internet I did speak with someone at Netgear they had me reconfigure device through their app didn't seem to help Comcast technician said that the device even though it was compatible may have been defective

    Worked very well but died after 16 months. I would assume they should last longer than that

    VPN does NOT work. Not able to work from home

    Very disappointed with this product. I brought this for 200$ thinking it would get better internet. The moment I connect to VPN problem starts. It keeps on connecting and reconnecting. Everything gets affected your internet, vpn connection. Basically you get frustrated and very helpless. I did lot of research on google and tried things suggested but of no use. I raised a service request, and I TELL YOU NEVER DO THAT MISTAKE TO CALL SUPPORT CENTER. THEY MADE ME WAIT ON CALL FOR MORE THAN 1 HOUR AND FINALLY TOLD ME TO CALL BACK AGAIN SINCE THAT PERSON CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEM!! Overall I am very disappointed that despite paying such huge money just to get better internet speed, nothing worked. Total waste of money.

    For this price, it should work flawlessly. Wifi speeds are pathetic. I pay for 400Mbs. This puts out no more than 315 on a good day and only 1 device connected. As advertised, there are minimal setting to adjust. Believe it. It took me over 30 minutes to set up and add modem to Xfinity. I had better and more reliable connectivity with my SB6190 and Orbi.

    Needed to upgrade my wi fi / modem router have been very pleased with service so far. App is not user friendly at all. Only downside

    Spent $200 to have a router that disconnects devices multiple times per day with the only fix being a complete reboot. Random power cycling also happens once every couple days. Contacted support about the issue. No help from them. After some research I found out these routers are notorious for this. Fell victim to the posotive reviews on Best Buy site. If I wouldn't have bought this so early for my son's birthday, I would have been able to take it back. Will never buy another Netgear product.
