Very simple to set up. Internet is much faster! I had an old modem before and my internet was dropping all of the time. Since upgrading to this I haven't had any problems. Worth every penny.

Have had this modem for over two years and it's been fantastic. App was easy to use, and it was seamless to set up for Xfinity internet. Only reason I'm not using it any longer is because we switched to fiber and had to use their equipment. Definitely going to pass this along to someone to keep using.

This router and modem is a great selection. The router is very fast and the cable modem is rock solid. I constantly run speed checks against speakeasy and see 70mbs download and 5.5mbs upload.

Love our new upgrade! It's easy to set up, fast and ready to take on your devices! We are a two person family but constantly have people over. Never have any problems accommodating all devices.

I only purchase cable service for the ethernet and I don't care for the provider's routers which are setup for WiFi only. I am good with Ethernet (safer, faster and secure). What I spent purchasing this router I saved $ from paying a rental fee for provider's equipment. Its a good router, secure connection and easy setup. Can connect different devices and if using WiFi adjust its bandwidth according to your needs. Highly recommend.

My previous modem could not cover outside the house, but this one is great, it has amazing range and even outside the house the speeds are pretty good, a bit pricey though

The router is extremely powerful compared with models I had before. It reaches very far and it is very easy to set up. Worked immediately with Comcast and saved me expert installation fees.

This top of the line router is recommended for Xfinity as they are dropping older cheaper modems. Eventually they will go to the Gig service and I heard you will need newer routers. I think you have to have DOC SIS 3.01. This dual band is great as some of the newer phones will glam on to the 5 gig channels. I had the Tech set it up as I needed wiring checked after 20 years on DSL which sucks big time. They ran a new cable to my box. Setup was easy just go to HTTP page for changes. Finally can run all security cameras in the house as I have upload speed now. Reception is good throughout the house. This mode is hot...I love it.. worth the extra $$

Exellent router. No problems to install. Excellent reach and stable thusfar. I use the 5G option and a guest account comes handy too. Connecting was no problem for all our devices. Except for a Home Mini that needed setting up from scratch but that's not a modem problem. I would like to use the LAN option for connecting the computers but since our printer is wireless only that doesn't work. It's weird that Windows or HP have no drivers to solve this problem.

Chose this for its compatibility with Cox Cable, did not need a 3.1 cable modem at this time. I found it very convenient to have the combination router and modern in one device. My spouse and I use the dual-bands as "his and hers," the faster 5G in my office with our Netgear device and the other band for my house roaming spouse. I am a patient person and found the set up pretty easy with the exception of our printer, but that's a Canon thing, not a reflection on Netgear. This is our second Netgear router because we were happy with the first.

I didn't want to pay for Spectrum's modem and router so looked at their approved list. This was one of them. I'm happy with the purchase - it was easy to set up. The only issue I had was I had to download an app to set it up but my phone gets poor service at my house. I did finally get it to work. I may need to get a wifi booster but that's due to the layout of my house, not the router itself.

This was a great purchase. It combines both the router and modem, both of which I needed replacing. Although pricey, if you consider the price of these separately for great quality items, you'd spend more. It works great through a closed room in the basement and supports multiple devices, although it slows down when there's more than 3 things connected and being actively used. The signal is strong and uploads and downloads are very fast. It's a giant improvement over my outdated technology from about 5 years ago. I'd recommend this to anyone.
