Since I’ve bought the Nighthawk replacing my old Netgear my connection to the WiFi throughout the house seems to be a lot better. I live in a two story and before I needed to use a extender but with this it reaches upstairs effortlessly. Hooking it up was simple and the instructions given for the steps on the computer come with it and were helpful. Might be a little more on the expensive side but with the amount of devices and type of work I do it was a must to help with the internet not lagging along. My internet does though seem to drop here and there in connection but nothing to serious. I definitely recommend this product

Having recently switching ISP from DSL to cable and intending to save cable modem rental fees, I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 cable router modem. After reviewing a number of all in one WiFi router modems, this met my needs. My cable internet is rated at 250 Mbps, and the router delivers this and at times more than the rated speed. Setup was easy using the Genie app. The WiFi covers my two story 1,800 square foot home inside and out.

If you are looking to replace Comcast/Xfinity’s residential gateway with your own and thereby skip the equipment rental add-on to the bill every month, this powerful router is for you. Easy to setup, and then you’re in control of your own network. And best of all, you will no longer be advertising the free Xfinity Wi-Fi public access - Bet you didn’t know you were doing that through XFinity’s gateway, did ya?

Seamless transition from the xfinity modem we have been paying monthly for for 3 years. We could have paid for 2 of these with the amount we have paid! I wish we knew sooner how easy it was to purchase and set up your own.

We're quite pleased with our Netgear Nighthawk. It was super easy to install right out of the box. The two channels allow us to ensure a family of five are all accessing their chosen internet device without reducing the speed on the rest of the house. While we haven't used this feature yet, it also allows for the creation of guest accounts--an excellent bonus that I'm sure we'll end up setting up as we settle into our new home.

I was looking for a good wifi cable modem after comcast router has clearly shown its limitations. I did some research before making the purchase. For about two years, it has delivered the expectations - good range, speed and stability. Sometimes internet connection drops for less than a minute but it is not clear whether it is the router or comcast internet. Other than that, it has been just great.

This modem/router combo is super easy to use, and easy to set up. My fiance and I are continuing our enducation (I'm going for my bachelor's in engineering, she's going for her master's for medical counselling.) I purchased this, and have no issues with it. I do also game, and she streams movies when we aren't doing our school work! I totally recommend it if you want a modem and router in one unit!

This works good only for 2-4 devices. Range and speed is decent. Works good with Xfinity. One defect I observed when you are downloading any movie kind of file, we cannot browse or use other network applications effectively until the download is completed. At this time the network speed gets too slow. I did not see this defect when used router from Xfinity earlier using this one. If you are able to ignore this, other things works as expected.
