After a service call to check said router technician adviced to stop paying for their router and invest on my own. After thinking about it made the decision and bought this from a local store, it was very easy to install and just like that my wifi went from barely getting signal to having the best signal up to about half a block away.

Since I switched to this modem, I stopped experiencing wifi issues with my laptop and my smart tv. Super easy to set up, discrete design and great quality! I've used it for almost a year already and everything works great.

a great combo of modem and router

The signal is strong and we do not overwhelm this product with a large number of devices. I am discovering that a problem exists with Mediacom and the strength of the signal. The maintenance of a strong signal is required for this device to operate at full capacity. There seems to be a problem with our cable service. There will be more investigation on our end.
