Bought this unit to replace one issued by CenturyLink. This one is definitely faster but no more powerful. I have an old, 90-year old house that is solid. The signal, like the modem issued by CenturyLink is spotty upstairs and has a critical dead spot in my niece's room. Has to buy a $40 Net Gear extender unit to get wifi upstairs. About 2 weeks use and no problems except said limited range. Connection speeds and reloads are definitely improved.

The Xfinity installation man had a compatability problem. Not sure if he was just trying to sell their router or not. Since I was not there where I could see what was going on, I could not argue with him. I thought it was a damned fine router but then again I was not there.

I’m glad I purchase this as compared to 4 other options and even this is really good when it comes to considering best quality to use in mid size house and you really don’t need any other items to connect your entire house

This router was pretty easy to set up for Comcast's service. I bought it because I wanted the best range I could get from a combination router/modem. I live in Philadelphia so I thought the technologies would be able to cut through some of the city "noise." It does so pretty well, except for the far end of my 1st floor apartment. Had to re-purpose an old Airport Extreme as a range extender via Powerline Network adapters to hit my bedroom. All is good now.

This is a very good router., giving you 2 WiFi’s to use, 2.5, and 5. Super easy setup!

Bought this router when one provided by Xfinity wasn't working well. Now I no longer pay $13 month to rent their device. This one will pay for itself in no time. This router works just fine with Xfinity internet service.

very good modem and router combo. The only problem was connecting my son"s Xbox, which I bought the netgear extender. All other gaming systems, computers and tablets work fine with th wireless connection.

I'm not a tech person. My old router died and needed new one. Decided to replace my modem at the same time. Geek squad came out and installed it and is working fine. My old router lasted 8 years so I buy instead of renting from comcast and save money over time.

Easy to setup. Much faster than my rented comcast modem, and will save me money.

I bought this router based on the recommendation of a Best Buy team member. He explained how there were 2 networks that could be setup from the same router and it had advanced security features. This sounded all great but setting it up was a nightmare for someone who isn't tech savvy. However, now that it's set up and working it works GREAT. We have 4 smart TVs, 2 iPhones, 1 iPad, 2 laptops, and a RING doorbell connected and it works very well.

It was easy to install and provides an excellent signal.

Resolved problem I was having with old modem. No longer losing connection while working on important work related projects. Able to surf the web and stream material quickly on multiple devices.

We had endless connectivity problems, finally invested in this new modem and it is fantastic! If you are an Comcast/Xfinity customer and you've had the technicians out to no avail...this modem is your solution. Older modems cannot process the higher speeds of modern internet as well as this one can. Problem solved!

Best router/modem I have ever used. Has great features, works very well. Compact size, strong reliable signal, easy setup. Saves space instead of having router and modem seperate and may pay for itself eventually for those who rent a router from their internet provider. I solidly recommend this model.

I'm happy with this product as it covers my entire home without issues. I'm finally able to use ALL of my devices on this single router/modem. I use Comcast (I know it sucks but what are you gonna do when you live in a monopolized area, get satellite internet? I rather sell my soul to the devil that is Xfinity) and wanted some degree of control over my fate so I bought this instead of use theirs and pay that stupid 10 dollar fee per month.

Thank goodness Pedro, the Comcast Xfinity technician did come in to find my wiring, turn off Verizon Fios. Then he connected the Netgear19, having no problem at all. He showed me what to look for and who to call if I had a problem. And it has been working ever since.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to get this, as it is both a router and modem in one. But it was at a good price, and the brand is a good one, and the salesman recommended it. I'm glad I went with it. Easy to set up, no problems at all in connecting to my internet service and providing wifi to my apartment.

Got this for a great sale price. I love that I don’t have to have two devices cluttering up my house since this is a dual item with the router and the modem. Set up was fast and easy. Haven’t had any problems with our WiFi so I would recommend this item.

This router is amazing, I never seen my speed that high in my life. I was reaching 500 mbps, I'm literally watching everything in 4k. Let me tell you about gaming, not a single lag. All of my downloadable games down load under 10 mins which is insane. I so recommend for any 4k watcher and gamer.
