My previous modem/router performance was 350+ mbps wired and could push 250+ mbps wirelessly up to ~10 ft, dropping to ~50 mbps at ~15 ft. The Netgear Nighthalk pushes 250+ mbps to 20+ ft. Setup was fairly straightforward. The instructions were a bit unclear to get the 5G band working, but not too bad. Had this not been an issue, I would have given 5 stars.

Was having a lot of trouble with my older cable modem router so decided to buy this one. My wifi speed has doubled since installing this. No more buffering or losing signal even when 4 devices are using wifi at the same time.

Works great, setup was SUPER EASY. Gone are the days where you're forced to do setup via a computer connected to it with an Ethernet cord. I was able to download the app and complete setup through my phone.

This works amazing for the price point. I get 90-115 on a regular basis with Spectrum, which is more than what I pay for. Only complaint is I had more consistent speeds at 110 on the older model. Didn’t have the range of speeds. If you’re looking for a solid Modem/Router that won’t send you into bankruptcy this is the one!

Purchased this modem/router combo to replace the “rental” from our local cable provider. It’s got enough power that it’s basically “future proof” for any internet service offered with our provider.

One of my favorite things about Netgear is the app to shut down the internet at will when my kids are acting up! The equipment is very good quality and the coverage works in the whole 2,800 square feet of my old house with thick walls as well as the basement and reaches outside some too!

I love Netgear and the Netgear Genie. This model is a beast that can handle 24 devices at a time. You do not think you will need that many, but trust me you will. TV, Dish, Phones, tablets, 4k player, computers. Way faster than anyone needs, unless you are a hardcore gamer.

This router/modem covers an 18 sq ft house with ease. I stream TV and there s no buffering with multiple TVs streaming at the same time. This device does its job very well.

This product is just what we needed to rid of a cable rental that was price increases every year. What a great investment.

A great wireless router. Very easy to setup. Alot of features that are extremely useful. Also has the ability for the user to change wireless channel if too much traffic is on the current channel. Great purchase for the money.

Had a rented router from the cable company, but speeds seemed to be lagging, so I thought a new one would fix the problem. This router was super easy to setup and has great range. Unfortunately, the speeds were much of an improvement. I'm guessing the problem is the service and not the equipment, but I was expecting a bit more. Either way, this router has been good so far.

Best Buy Geek Squad technician recommended the NETGEAR AC 1900 Wi-Fi Modem Router to more adequately energize my Wi-Fi system to reach my 3 computers and 2 Caption telephones located in different rooms in my 2 story home. I am very pleased at the improvement it has made for my tech gear.

Very fast router. Super easy installation. Works great with Xfinity internet service. Shopped around & got the lowest price at Best Buy. Netgear has the most reliable routers. All the good reviews helped me choose this model.

This was super easy to install. I am not tech savvy at all. I noticed a huge improvement in streaming and video calls. My house is 1400 sq ft and it doesn't reach the room furthest away.

We wanted a new Modem because our other one was too slow for the internet speeds provided by our internet provider and this does the job. We have second floor house and the connection is good all over the house. No complaints. Fast and Powerful!

as soon as i hooked it up and spectrum connected to it over the phone, my internet instantly boosted up to 450 -500 mbps. i love it. but remember this doesnt just make your internet faster, you have to be paying for the fast speeds from the provider first.

I tried to buy a cheep one first because all I have is one phone and a smart tv. Never haveing to have my movies buffer right in the middle of a action scene is worth spending money. I upgraded to this about a year ago and I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Bought this router to eliminate rental fees on my monthly internet service bill. Compatible with Xfinity. Price was fairly high but will save me money in the long run. Needed this specific router to accommodate my internet service speeds

My internet was slow when I called spectrum they told me I had to much connect. Knew that that could not be right so I start looking and bestbuy tech told me that the nighthawk would work and its great faster than its ever been even when they are gaming

After looking at product reviews for numerous combination units, I settled on this one. It works GREAT, I recommend it. I was "renting" one from my cable company as my owned unit had failed. This will pay for itself within a year.
