I had one year old nergear router which was about 70$. For this whole year my WiFi was pretty bad. I thought optimum was bad and I was almost about to switch my ISP. However I realized it is the router after doing a speed tests with Ethernet cable on and via WiFi and got this bad boy on black Friday with a deal. And i am pretty impressed. I am hitting almost 200mbps even via WiFi. It has a great range too. I live in a 2 story apt with basement about 1800 sqft and I am covered throughout. Buy it !

Router worked great, however I had to return it because the salesperson said it would work with my telephone, but it was not a telephony modem.

I got this because my last cable modem was inconsistent. This box give internet throughout our house, a two story Victorian with plaster walls.
