    I bought this modem router as an upgrade to the C6300 model, which was a decent one to begin with. I chose the Nighthawk because of its 24 X 8 channel bonding. I didn't think it would make a huge difference, but in a household with 3 laptops, 4 mobile phones, and 3 tablets (not counting our wired devices), the ability to stream improved dramatically. Highly recommended!

    Used it to replace an older cable modem that gave up the ghost. Out of the box it was transferring data at 450 mps. The Netgear Nighthawk app is unusable for me, because no sane person can agree to the terms and conditions. Kind of a silly way to offer and app. Thankfully, the modem will work with out it and you can tell Netgear where to stick it.

    Bought this unit as the internet speed was very slow. Once installed the speed jumped to 140 mbps from 30 mbps.

    This is my second time to to upgrade my modem. I originally had the TimeWarner Cable modem and purchased my own to have better control over my network. I found i had much better throughput and reliability with that unit. I then upgraded my service package to 200x20 which required me to get this modem. I have been extremely happy with this unit. I get the speeds i am paying for, I have noticed less dropped connections and an overall better network performance.
