    The Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router is a very good modem and router. I was experiencing signal drop from the router, and in through tweaking the settings I found that the "customizations" was not exactly what I needed and did not like how Firmware updates are at the mercy of my ISP. I did return it (very easy return) and purchased separate modem and Nighthawk router. These have worked without fail for a few weeks now.

    Netgear is a great choice for mid range modem/router that gets the job done. I have my unit stored in sideboard in the middle of my house and l receive excellent serve throughout my home. Im giving this product 4 stars b/c sometimes my streaming will lag and Ive had to reconnect my security to the wifi.
