    The modem is great, but it doesn't have a on/off/reset button. The older, less expensive, model did which made it easy for my kids to restart if necessary. However, with this one it has to be unplugged for reset. I bought this model to be faster and more efficient with my internet provider (WOW), and it works better than the older model as far as upload/download speed.

    NOTE: works with Xfinity out of the box! This is an excellent router. I use the Dual Band 5gzh to support my smart appliances (bulbs, garage, Shark Vac, etc...) so the 3ghz band is free for other use and doesn't kick off my smart home appliances. Fantastic value. The Genie App really needs some work, but it's still great at helping you change the password, name of the network, etc... AND see how many devices are connected. Overall Great Buy.

    This Netgear router is the best. I bought if for my neighbors for their first home network. They are in their 80's and they loved how quickly I got the network set up. Their network is fast!! No more lost connections while face timing with their grandkids.
