    Cool product; bought so we could control/shut off devices in our house for our kids. Not quite as easy to set up as initially led to believe (especially in naming each device) but overall I am pleased with it.

    Prior to purchasing, we were getting drops and several dead spots throughout our home. We frequently would get network drops while watching Netflix. My house is over 2,500 sq ft plus a basement, so a good sized home. We have a number of connected devices and I need a good WiFi network because I also work from home. Since installing this router about one month ago, we have only had one brief failure, so the WiFi network appears to be greatly improved.

    I did my homework on wireless routers. The Netgear AC1900 consistently rose to the top. It works great wirelessly and with all Ethernet ports in use. I even have an 8 Port Gigabit switch attached to it. Netgear Gigabit switch also of course. The vertical mounting position also saves valuable space on the shelf.
