    If you plan on saving money from renting the modem you'll have to purchase something like this. Definitely faster than the one that was given to me by Time Warner. However the modem does seem to lose efficiency from time to time. You will need to be with Time Warner/spectrum for a couple years before you start to save money as this modem is pretty expensive.

    Netgear has always been in the game with internet devices! If you are stuck with cable internet…do not use the cable companies device when this thing is available. Plenty of bandwidth and stable!
