Randomly died on us. Just wouldnt power on. Wifi was great. Only thing is that it has 5G band as well. No where on the packaging or description does it mention having 5G wifi, which is harmful and unnecessary. Liked the product overall, but it stopped working out of nowhere.

One setting might get you in trouble. You can look down your network and if you want to add a device, it wont let you and it wont tell you why. Keep this in mind if yuo by an alex or a ring or a nest device.

Easy set up, great signal distance, would recommend

A bit expensive compared to other brands/routers but worth the investment. I added two tvs and the wifi lagged but with the Nighthawk-no issues at all.

This modem/router combo has worked wonderfully. If you're looking to replace both your router and modem, see if this will work with your internet provider. Definitely saved me $$$ by not having to purchase both separately. Internet has been flawless!

The netgear nighthawk gateway router and modem is good.

Would rather own it than rent it from a company. Have had internet service for six years and I would of paid this over twice already with renting from the internet company. Have never had any trouble.

When purchasing a modem to your use with your internet provider, be sure that you and the rest of members in the house looks have patience during setup and life of modem. You will have to troubleshoot and google search yourself to resolve issues that may arise. The benefits being no more rental fees from your ISP!

Works great wi-fi has complete coverage all throughout the house and separate garage

Works great. The only issue is it is difficult to get the WIFI to turn off. The instructions say to hold the button in for 2 seconds, but that doesn’t work most of the time. It takes anywhere from 2-8 seconds, making it very frustrating.

Okay for the whole house, not great for exterior units

Bought this modem/wireless router to take the place of my cables company equipment and have never looked back. After a call to my cable company to activate the device it has worked better than the cable equipment
