bought this one to replace one we were having problems with. We can definitely see a difference in the quality of the internet in our home since we set it up. set up is pretty easy.

Had to return it because verizon fios said they needed to use their own router. I don't know much about this, but with the research I did this was a great choice.

Was having major connectivity problems with an older router/modem so I had to replace it...I chose this model and it was a breeze to set up and install and my problems are solved

Customer support excellent as they were patient & practical with a non-techie with installation & other related matter, providing valuable insight regarding the various features.

Worked very well! However it became super slow and unable to keep up after about 2 years.

I bought this to replace the old TWC one I had been paying two years for.. So, here we go; it shifts speed randomly. It can be very fast and then really slow to the point I have to reset the d@mn thing. wired or not. wifi range is way better but like I said, speed varies no matter if one device or 5 devices are pulling waves.

Okay product and no issues so far. It works with xfinity provider.

Very helpful. Professional. Great at explaining answers to my questions. I had difficulty separating the “duties “ of the TV, the Cox service and the Netgear responsibilities. Very patient with me.

I have been running this modern for about a month and it appears to be performing as advertised. No issues so far. The proof is in the long term stability which I have not yet experienced. I will check in after a few more months of use.

This a great router for X-finity - it has a great wireless spread and is easily customizable. I hated having to lease a router from AT&T so purchasing this was worth it as well as changing my service.

Very nice modem router combo! I had problems before with separate modem and router setup giving poor signal strength , and having to reset them often but no problem with this combo unit. No more buffering while streaming movies with my Roku !

I knew I needed a new router for my upgraded internet service, but I never knew how bad I needed it until I plugged it in, transferred the service and started to enjoy it. Highly recommended.

800 square Foot Apartment. Wifi works great throughout my apartment. Computers and Smartphones & Streaming TV all at the same time. No problems so far. Make sure you call Comcast if they are your Internet provider. They need Info on your modem before it will work properly.

Good modem/router. Setup was easy. Only downside was the distance for 5g. My old Netgear was in the basement and covered the whole house. I moved the Nighthawk to the first floor and just barely get a signal on the second floor. There is a strong 2.5 signal.

great cable modem and wifi router. the smartphone app is very helpful when i need to check out performance, reboot and see what devices are connected. definitely would recommend this product for anyone who needs a cable modem. got this on sale

The unit was easy to hookup. The iOS app is awesome.

I love Netgear. It's compatible with xfinity Comcast and Xbox live. I bought this to get rid of my modem fee from Comcast. However there's no phone line for this modem so I cannot get phone service with xfinity. For the price of this, it should have a place for the phone.

Help to save money and real fast wyfi like a lot more

Decided to cut the cord on our cable and stream everything. Had been leasing equipment from cable company for years. Set up was very easy. We have good wifi signal throughout our home. Very happy with the Nighthawk modem router.
