Customer service was a NIGHTMARE! If you're up to many challenges, NETGEAR Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 24 x 8 DocSIS 3.0 Cable modem will leave you satisfied.

The box says setup with nighthawk app. As of this review that is wrong the nighthawk app doesn't support it. Use the Netgear genie app, also before you setup call your ISP give them the MAC of the device.

Great product for the cost. It was definitely a step up from the modem and router I had. It’s also durable because it survived a fall from my desk.

I got this as a value option to make my Xfinity connection more stable and usable, and eligible for a speed upgrade. It did that. As a minor issue, the wifi coverage isn't quite what I expected, but not bad. As a more annoying issue, the NetGenie app for it stopped integrating with parental controls the month after we bought it. As a result, I've spent months manually pausing and unpausing my kids' devices and monitoring for old throwaway cell phones their friends give them, before finally buying a dedicated router to address the issue.

It’s a awesome router and solves dual purpose as for cable modem and for wifi router, another great product by netgear. I would definitely recommend this product.

The WI-FI isn’t strong enough in my basement, I have trouble with video freezing when I’m done there.

I play a lot of games and was tired of being kicked offline buy my old router this one has great reviews so I gave it a shot and I'm happy I did I haven't had a problem with it since I bought it highly recommend

I like not over complicating things using two devices. This router/modem is more than capable for my household of four people, with multiple devices streaming movies simultaneously.

I have been very happy with the router. Using with Comcast Fiber which has clocked wireless speeds at 175 mps. Crazy fast. The product that comes with Comcast limits the data, this product unlocked the door.

I have had problems with some Comcast equipment in the past and this unit is much, much better and more compact. Wifi is fast, and now I don't have Comcast equipment monthly fees!

Wow, 8 upload and 24 download channels in a cable modem and a router. Dual band 2.4 and 5 mhz, 32 devices on each. Goodbye cable rush hour, no more 8 channels - Hello 24 channels, like more lanes on the highway.

replaced my 10 year old modem-router, works well, reaches all the rooms in the house, no problems even when the grandkids are over and we have 5 devices running at once

Was getting more results when streaming and zoom calls. The router has fixed my issues. Also purchased a mesh system, so house is fully covered with Wi-Fi.

worth the price. Works way better than anything. And if you have spectrum it way better download and upload speed, make sure its hard wired for gaming. Love it

Since I bought this product I don’t have any issues with the internet.. great if you’re working from home or playing online games

My appartment complex made me go through their off brand crappy internet /cabel provider and I was worried even with a nice router/modum I would not be able to play online games properly. However, while I am connected to the Ethernet, I have had the fastest and most reliable internet without ping/fps difficulties. Have not lagged once since I have set up this router. The Wi-Fi is good also and have had no problems streaming video.

Overall it's a good product and functioned as stated. The modem had issues with Xfinity and had slow speeds an kept dropping the connection. After doing some research I wasn't the only one that had this problem. I went with another brand and fixed the problem.

Was sick of paying to rent my router every month from the cable company, so decided to purchase my own. So far has worked as good, if not better, than the one provider by our cable company.

This is so far so good. But, 2.4GHz network is slow. I may have to ask for expert’s help to set it up for optimal performance. Also, after a tray need to see if it starts dropping or not as with other net gear routers

This monster has tripled my wifi speeds and is way better than the Comcast router also you don't have to paythere monthly rental fee I would recommend Best Buy's to price match thoe it saved me 50 dollars
