Very easy to install. Greatly improved signal quality over the previous router/modem I was renting from the cable company. Highly recommend this unit.

We are very happy with this purchase. It's much better than paying the cable company a monthly rental fee and the internet service is excellent.

I had a Comcast modem/router combo. Barely got signal in my living room. They get theirs for cheap. Replaced it with the Netgear and the signal is great

I was told once before the the nighthawk was the way to go now I have one and it's not the top of the line but it's just as good have had not trouble with it easy to set up and get going and my Internet signal has been boosted by the this box

Great router and modem. Works great for gaming and everything else. Definitely buy if you don’t want a expensive router.

This is the second Netgear router we have purchased. The other one was outdated and we had good luck with it so got another.

I had high expectations for this product and it delivered! I was having issues with the system slowing down with multiple users. I don't have that problem any more.

Purchased this to replace an old router that broke; this one is a big improvement--improved wifi signal and capabilities.

I bought this in August, and at first, it worked fine, but about 2 1/2 months after purchasing, it started to freeze up, drop Wi-Fi connections, and I was having to reboot it 5 times a day. I work from home and so I need a reliable modem and did not want to lease from Comcast. I have bought netgear modems before. The NetGear customer support is horrible and a scam. So you get 90 days complimentary support. And a year warranty on parts. I contacted their support witihin the 90 days, and so a ticket was opened, they wanted screen shots, then I would send them if I could get them because half the time I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi or internet to work to get the screenshots, and the final thing said was try a Comcast modem and see if that works after reading the screenshot. Okay, I told them, and they closed the ticket and that was after the 90 days warranty period is over. So I called them to tell them another modem works. I have to pay for technical support now. They said it’s a new issue and they can’t reopen a new ticket and the complimentary period is over. In researching this and other netgear models, there is a firmware update that netgear knows about that they can push out to you, but you can’t do it yourself. So they wait until they can charge you the fee to “fix” it by doing the firmware update. Buy the warranty with Best Buy if you want to take your chances with this piece of crap modem. I am glad I did. They should investigate Netgear because I feel it’s a scam to get more money. They shouldn’t even sell them.

I bought this modem because my son and my aunt has it and they told me how satisfied they were with theirs. It is a little pricey but well worth the money.

This was a quality replacement for my Comcast system. It was easy to set up and it provides me with excellent wireless service all throughout my house.

Strong wifi connection. Impressed with speed throughout home and works great in garage. I connected my smart tv in Garage to the wifi and it streams Netflix effortlessly

My wife and I are very pleased with this router/modem. Don't know why we hadn't switched from cable company router to our own before. Geek squad was great in setup as well.
