Finally turned in my modem to cable co and this will pay for itself in 12 mos! Higher quality than one from cable company

I didn't buy two because the first went bad...but bought the second one for my daughter and son-in-law.

A great alternative to renting a cable modem from Xfinity.

awesome router - purchased 2 years ago and still working great

I got this to replace the less than desirable one provided by my internet provider. It was easy to set up and place my own password.

Only issue is that I wasn't told I'd need to buy a cable splitter because I have home phone. This was not expensive, just inconvenient.

Speed is good, but drops internet more frequently, than it should. Have to reset modem every other week. The App is terrible, hard to connect to modem, difficult to start. The next mode of my bio will definitely not this brand.

They delivered very quickly and the product was top notch.

After having multiple issues with my cable company's router/modem, I decided to switch to this. I now have wifi all over my house.

for the price I thought it would work excellent. Still dont get full bars of wifi- on the other side of house. guess it doesn't transmit through walls...

This is an awesome router. I was having problem connecting some of my devices to the previous router which has been solved with this one

Very happy with this modem plus router combo. Recommend to my brother, he brought it too from best buy.

This is by far the best modem router that I have had. Granted I have never paid more than $99 for one. It was well worth the extra $100.

Purchased this when I switched to Spectrum Internet service. After about a month we started to experience intermittent Internet issues that affected only web traffic. During these events all other Internet traffic worked just fine- only http/80 and https:443 traffic failed. I do this for a living and exhausted all reasonable troubleshooting. Went back and forth with Netgear and Spectrum support. Netgear wouldn't move forward in providing support without a firmware update to the gateway, but they would not provide it to me. They said that Spectrum would need to apply the update. Spectrum said that they had not approved that firmware version as of yet. Therefore, I am left with a flaky router, unable to get any support at all from either the manufacturer or the service provider, and I am essentially out $194.84 since Best Buy will not take a return beyond 30 days. I ended up having to have Spectrum activate their router/gateway at an additional cost to me of $5 month- the very cost I was looking to avoid. I would not recommend purchasing a cable modem gateway period and I cannot recommend Netgear due to lack of support. Terrible support.

Bought a new modem router and after I hooked it up and went to install instructions someone else must have brought it back. On the instructions someone wrote passwords then scribbled them out. I had to do a factory reset to get it to work, and still having dropped internet. I should have took it back

The only thing that disappoints me I paid $199 for it three days later it went down to 159

I have a full house and this guy keeps up with the demand of multiple TV's, tablets and computers! Great buy!

Buyer beware if have Xfinity. I purchased this modem in August. I didn't realize it at the time but I thought I had outages for the past 2 months with no internet connection at times. This week for 2 days, I had connection issues to the internet. Contacted Xfinity which they tried to troubleshoot but couldn't get a signal to modem. The technician came and replaced the cable to see if that would resolved the issue. Tried to do a factory reset but nothing happened when pushing the button and lights wouldn't cut off. Finally the technician said it was the modem. This modem only lasted a little less than 3 months and it's trash. Do not waste your money on this modem because you will have connection issues. I will no longer waste my money on Negear products again.

I spent around 200 dollars for this Modem , now I don't have to pay Xfinity amonthly fee Way better than the rental from xifinty
