This is garbage, if you think this is going to help your home system. You are gravely mistaken. This unit is slow and if you are having speed issues at home get your pieces separately. Buy a router and modem, but definitely not this for $189.99. Have had issue after 30-45 days of purchase with home wi-fi troubleshooted for 2-3 weeks with company IT and Comcast. Realized with IT gut I need them seperate not one.

I purchased one about 6-7 months ago and kept having problems with me internet disconnecting. I called the support team to get help. They said they could fix my issue but I had to purchase the 2 year technical support warranty for $170 dollars. I’d highly recommend to not purchase any NETGEAR products and to purchase a different brand. God Bless.

Having terrible luck with this router. I’ve had it for about a month. Worked great at first. Now it is spontaneously rebooting about 5 times a day. I don’t think it even has to do with how many devices are attached. Going to look for a different model. Too bad I can’t get my money back!

Yet again I’m another customer with a firmware issue!!! You cannot update the firmware yourself on this device. There simply is not an option. Do your research peeps I’m less than 6 months out on this router and can’t get the firmware update, the ISP won’t do it. Meanwhile I bounce from 7-70 (yes 7!!!!) mbps when I should be capping out upto 400. BTW I had zero issues up until one week ago. One of the best products I've ever bought. Netgerar is an excellent reliable company. WiFi speeds is really greart and the router is powerful. Pricy but definitely worth it.

Bought this modem to replace a broken one. Anything that is hardwired is solid but the 5GHz band has some major lag issues. 2.4 seems to be slightly better but also has lag issues. I would not buy this if wireless is being used for streaming/gaming.

The router is fine. Looks like the rest. But is overpriced. My internet connection is the same as it would be with a more affordable Netgear. The box is pretty bulky. If you have the money, buy it.. but it isn’t all that great or superior to others.

Very disappointed with this product. Connect ions can be slow causing lengthy buffering & Ethernet connection is useless.

The Nighthawk. I mean, the name practically sells itself. Bonus, it acts just as hawkly during the day. Swooping through the best wifi connections to keep you satisfied.

Doesn't work as advertised, got lied to by sales person. You cannot connect a cat 5 or 6 cable to it for an extender. Without it shutting down all internet, it doesn't want to keep speeds over one hundred and seventy two piece of junk!

I bought this because the reviews said easy set up. Well I tried to set it up and ended up having to call customer service and go back and forth with them for hours. Turns out the one I got was defective.

it works but it is not worth money i spend on it....

while it is possible to get it working, I don't reccomend anyone trying, whose isn't a little tech savy, it basically comes broken thrpugh a firmware update issue out of the box, and makes it unnecessarily difficult to update with what honestly seems like pure laziness on the companys part. Do some research online and find out for yourself, online there are tons of people that complain about this issue.

replaced my tw router and didn't see much improvemnt

Modem was working but router part was not good I was barey getting any speed I was suppose to get 400mbps and was getting only 150

Firmware update attempts has numerous logs in router's admin settings but Netgear support has me performing every other trouble shooting tasks they can think of without any mention of a firmware update problem for over a week now. Even Xfinity, Best Buy and Eufy cameras has struggled with me trying to troubleshoot this product and confirmed everything was set up right. Back to Best Buy I go to return it for a more reliable brand of cable modem router.

I have it for a bit of a time and no complain about it until now. It does work as it should do. I like the way to make 3 way Networking ( guest - Regular - 5G ) .

Really cant say anything about it I have not set it up yet. Hopefully next week or so I will get it up and running. bought it based on others ratings Hope it works as well as they all rated it

I bought this so I could stop renting from my internet provider. Setup was easy, and it worked fine for 2 weeks until it died. I tried everything, reset, checked the logs, etc. Performed a factory reset which was a hassle, that fixed it for less than an hour. I’m 1 say outside my return period. Needless to say Im not pleased with my purchase or experience. In the history of the internet I’ve never had a router malfunction in such spectacular and quick fashion.
