    God help you if you need tech support

    Tech companies make it clear what they think about their customers by the quality of their tech support. After four fruitless and frustrating hours on the phone with India trying to get this thing to work, I can confidently report that Netgear couldn't care less.

    Either unit was damaged or spectrum couldn't connect with it. Had to return.

    This product was working great for 4 months, then just stopped working. I was unable to connect to my ISP. Unplugged and did a manual reset with no luck. After looking at multiple reviews, this is a common issue this product. The warranty is good for a year but it’s a hassle to get in contact with the company. Now I have a $176 paper weight.

    Short life and the worst customer support I have ever experienced. Netgear only offers support for 90 days. I finally got them to agree to send me a new one because the router only lasted about 6 months, but they never did. Several follow-up messages to Netgear went unanswered. Will never buy a Netgear product again.

    tried to install with comcast tech help as well as netgear tech--on phone well over 2 hours combined and neither one could make it work--returned item to store and stayed with comcast's rental modem/router--that works fine even though i have to pay $14 per month

    This router/modem combo was such a bust for us. Less than a year later we had to purchase a new setup because we were not getting the speeds we were paying for, wired in or on WiFi. Support is also difficult since you have to pay to get help to troubleshoot. Won’t purchase net gear ever again, nor a modem/router combo.

    Slow WiFi

    Wireless is week for the money

    I do not have a large house and the Wi-Fi is weak upstairs. It is even week in the room next to the router.

    Its just an year i bought this, all of a sudden it stopped working, i initially thought it was due to some cables/internet provider, after xfinity reviewed everything it was concluded that router is the curlprit and it is not working. I am trying to see if i can get it working with software upgrade or not.

    It stopped working all of sudden and Xfinify guy confirmed it is a defective item. Neither Besy buy/ Netgear team doesn't want to resolve my issue even though I'm in good hardware warranty period. I DONT recommend this at all. Last thing, I never expected such a very poor response from best buy as well.
