The setup was super easy. I just called my cable company and they added the router/modem to replace the existing one. I download and stream a ton of contetnt. I also have an xbox one, ps4, switch, and gaming PC. For all of these it increased my speed. Especially on PSN for the PS4. My download speeds were horrid and I got disconnected all the time on the ps4. This router not only fixed that, but I not get speeds faster than I pay for. I was on the fence because of the price. Its well worth it.

Originally purchased another product (not a NetGear product) and while the reviews were good had a horrible experience on the wif-fi portion. The Nighthawk is "pricey" for sure but the setup, operation, and configuration options make this unit attractive. I have 16+ devices attached in various manners and so far the Nighthawk has done well.

This is a very fast modem/router and is simple to set up. If you have Time Warner or Comcast you just plug it in and call them. Even with smaller providers it's very simple to set up and use. I love the WPS button that connects equipment around the house very quickly without having to enter long passwords (and you should be using long, complex passwords). I highly recommend this unit. It works great.

I purchased this router to replace a Arris AC1900 had for about a year. It kept dropping my signal, gave poor coverage and I even had it replaced once with the same model. Same results. Best Buy suggested I try the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. WOW!! Much better performance. Now I can print again from anywhere in the house. My phones, computers, and FireTV can access throughout the house without dropping and having to reconnect. This modem is AWESOME!

I decided to buy my own modem/router because I did not want to rent equipment from Spectrum. I'm trying to save money not spend it. I found this and read the reviews and decided to go with it. I called Spectrum and got it set up and my connection is much better and the range is much better as well. During chat on my PS4 there was always a lag or people getting cut off now with this, it's clear and perfect.

Purchased this modem in replacement of my current net gear modem. my internet speed was limited and even YouTube started to buffer al lot. Then I spend the extra money and got the nighthawk. I will never look back, my internet speed has doubled and the range is excellent on this modem. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want their internet speeds to suffer..

U[upgraded recently from my separate modem and router to this dual purpose router. I have Comcast Blast with speeds up to 75mb, but I was only getting 20 at best. I figured it was Comcast. Nope. As soon as we installed this baby our speeds blasted up to 70-80mb! And one less piece of equipment to hassle with. It's pricey, but since you're eliminating the need for a modem, I think it's worth it. And the speed if fantastic!

My NETGEAR Nighthawk AC 1900 WiFi cable modem/router C7000 has improved my Internet capabilities 100%. It’s like the difference between day & night. Who knew! No more buffering! As a senior citizen, words like buffering, modem, & router were not even invented yet. I’m a happy buyer.

Great IMPROVEMENT! Bought this router modem Friday, to replace older Netgear AC1250. Has excellent coverage and improved speed. Was going to get AX wifi 6, but don't have any wifi 6 devices to justify the $400+ price. This NIGHTHAWK is the ultimate addition and will be useful for the next couple of years....

This was a very very good product! I only returned it because my fiber optic internet didn’t accept router/modem combos..it strangely only connected to my Mac book and iPhone, but it wouldn’t connect to any other devices in the house. The small time that I used it, it was lightning fast!

*Disclaimer: I received this unit as part of a friends and family program with Netgear free of charge. * However, this is my third cable modem that I've received from Netgear and my fourth router / wifi access point - and this combination is by far the best they have put out yet. I waited a few weeks to write my review to ensure that it is stable and my previous signal issues in our house didn't reappear. I'm happy to report that those issues area all gone. With the previous Cable Modem from Netgear (the AC1750), I had really bad reception problems in my house from my second floor to our main floor (the second floor contains my wiring closet). I ended up putting in a wireless range extender to compensate. With this new one, I have been able to turn off the range extender and use it on the fastest signal throughout the house with no issues. The user interface is the standard Netgear interface and is a lot more responsive than their other units. If you are going to replace the standard Time Warner rented cable modem, I highly recommend you pick up this unit - especially if you have a larger house (2,300 sq ft +) as this unit will give you the best range for your dollar and the best performance.

1st off I was always a firm believer of the cable companies ability to WANT to provide us the best modem and wifi technology that would give us the best experience with their product.. I mean they provided the modem so it must be good.. LOL. After my Rental charges went up and up I said wait, How hard can it be. Looking over the reviews this unit looked to be worth the change over. Boy was it worth the 10 min it took. With in 15 min. I was reaching speeds in my 3rd floor 4K sft home 4x what I got before. My modem is in the basement and 3 floors up is the same speed as 1,2 floors up.. I even get better wifi in the yard... This unit is amazingly much better than the most updated Comcast X1 wedge design modem/wifi brick they charge $13/mo to rent. Boy was I wasting my money every month.. I HIGHLY suggest this unit as it's speeds are way faster, wifi is WAY better and farther reaching and if you do the math it's worth the investment.

We purchased this item in a hurry and went by the reviews on Best Buy and it has not disappointed.....Very easy to hook up and is fast....We run sling Netflix and Hulu and never have had a problem....Highly recommend

Horrendous customer service. Have had this for 9 months and it no longer works with xfinity.

This a great modem/router. Excellent coverage as well. My only worry is. Is Spectrum changing my speeds on me because I’m not using their equipment. I was getting 470 speeds. Change to this modem. Now I can only get 250. This modem is capable of 960

Have 100mb service from Comcast/Xfinity. With the "Rented" Modem, I was getting 100mb download/6 upload on WIFI 5g (2.4g was 40/6). Plug in the modem, Logged into Xfinity, Modem rebooted and I re-ran my tests. The Numbers were the same. BUT, at the furthest point in my house I was getting 5g (20 Down/4 up). NOW I am getting the FULL 100 download 6 Upload!! Obviously I'm not getting any "Faster" speeds from the Modem. But the Router is pushing the signal 3 times as far!! Save the $10 a month renting Comcasts junk and improve your Speeds EVERYWHERE in your house (and maybe down the street!)

Really fast wifi, easy installation, no problem setting it up whit xfinity.

Plugged it in 3 years ago and have never had a single issue. Highly recommend. Great speed and wifi.
