Super fast and easy to use router/cable modem. I was a bit skeptical of the 2-in-1 BUT this works great. the app is super helpful as well.

In researching Modem / Router Combo units that was compatible with Optimum to replace their separate units - this Netgear AC1900 was identified. In summary, it works great! Setup was easy. The longest part of the setup was Optimum Customer Service in that it took 45 minutes to have the new modem activated. The WiFi coverage is superior to the cable company's equipment in that I have whole house WiFi coverage at the Mbps speed that I expected.

We were having trouble getting service in several rooms in the house. Now we are completely covered and internet is very fade. Also easy to set up.

Very easy to hook up and get started. Seems to have lots of range and we haven't had a single issue whatsoever.

This router beats the heck out of the one supplied by my cable provider it was supposed to handle up to 1 gb I only payed for 300 mb but never saw speeds over 195 mb and that was rare I also experienced so many lost connections I can't even begin to count. This router provides consistent speeds of 290 mb +or- 20 mb and I haven't lost a signal once not to mention the 13.00 dollars a month I save in rental fees. I would highly recommend this product. I love the Nighthawk! I read reviews before purchasing but was thrilled with it's ease of applying instructions and speed. Definitely worth the price.

Fast speed, ditched my cable router. Loving it. Old router constantly going out, had to call cable company to fix it & did this for 17 years until finally got own router but needed my IT friend to set it up, since I am not good w/these things.

I needed to get an upgrade on my modem as I switched my speed from Xfinity to 1000 Mbps. Searching around, I wanted to find one with wifi built in so I don't have to buy two. After looking I chose this and as soon as I installed, I can tell the difference. Pages were uploading a lot faster and this should make my wife happy. I'm waiting to see if she notices the change in a few days. I would recommend this product and the price is not too bad.

I purchased this because I kept having problems with the equipment that my ISP provided (even after several replacements). It has been great. No down time, and I can get into the software and set up parental controls for the whole house as well. As a perk, I will also be saving money on my ISP bill because now I don't have to rent their equipment. In the long run it pays for itself and eventually saves money, is very reliable, and has more user control. It's a win all around.

I purchased this one to replace the cable modem I returned. WiFi is fast, I never lose signal, and has a long range. No complaints.
