Turned in my Comcast supplied combination router and saved $11 a month. This dual band modem router surpassed my expectations. I figured it would be better than the Comcast equipment, but its way better than their equipment. I'm paying for 55 and am getting 75+. I can see a noticeable difference in the way my computer loads and moves. Very easy to set up. I'm not a pro by any means but had no trouble getting my system up and running in less than an hour...I wasn't rushing. Since set up about a month ago there has been no problems. The net has not stopped working, as far as I can see....others stated theirs lost contact with the net but I have not experienced that problem. Its relatively small and fits just fine into my existing equipment. So far, a great purchase, plus it will almost pay for itself in the first year.

Very simple set up. Has worked great. I have a three level house with this modem/router on the second floor. It has enought bandwidth to power my sons xbox on the first floor wirelessly. So plenty of range and power. Which is why i bought. Definitely as advertised.

Purchased to replace the piece of junk that Sparklight had provided. Easy setup and works fantastic. Has a much stronger WiFi signal and the 5Ghz covers the entire house now. Totally worth the money.

Great router for someone who streams music and video from multiple devices. Great range and speed, I had to set mine up in my basement and it still performs great. My house is 2 levels and about 2400 Sq ft and I have no issues in an area. Highly recommended.

The supported combination to reduce cable clutter and combine the needed; USB for printer or storage, fast internet (we are less than 500MB download as purchased from our carrier), and combining wireless router with cable modem. We are not a 1GB link to the PC (on purpose to not overspend) from our cable provider (RCN) and this was a great way to save on modem leases (rental). Plus it provided a higher number of channels for faster Internet then our old modem and router. Easy setup and management too. Highly recommend you confirm compatibility with your own provider; this was a great choice for us.

Easy to set up and intuitive admin interface. It serves my two story, roughly 2300 square foot house with no wireless dead zones. I have 100Mbps service from WoW and I get all of my available bandwidth.

Happy with my choice. This was one of the better modem/routers on the Time Warner recommended list. It's every bit as good as the TWC leased modem. It doesn't have a phone connection so IF you use their phone service, you need to keep TWC modem at no charge.

Set up was extremely easy. Speeds are great. Dealing with Xfinity was a little more difficult. One of the suggestions is to change the name and password of the network to your existing network so you don't need to change all of your equipment on the or for anyone you have given access. Wait until after you get tne new router activated by Xfinity. They kept asking for the network id from the side of the modem/router which I had already changed to the old network name. Otherwise once they caught on and activated it, runs fantastic.

Great combo for the price, make sure you check with your service providers, found out that Spectrum will no longer support Modems 3.0.

    Works with Chromecast Ultra!

This product replaced my Spectrum UBEE E31U2V1 Modem and RAC2V1A Arris Wave 2 Router combo. I have 400 Mbps service and the speeds of the Netgear Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 are almost identical to the Spectrum supplied equipment. The biggest difference is that the Spectrum equipment (WiFi) would absolutely not work with Google Chromecast Ultra where the Netgear works flawlessly with the default settings. On my WiFi network I have the Chromecast, PC with a Netgear AC1900 WiFi card, Ring video doorbell 2. Ring floodlight (both on 2.4GHz only), iPad, Hue lighting, Lutron dimmers, Lennox iComfort thermostat, and a Samsung refrigerator, all easily controlled from a iPhone 7 and an iPhone 10 on 5GHz.

Replaced an older modem/router combo on Spectrum. Setup was a breeze and performance has been outstanding. Had to use a repeater for the back rooms of the house previously, and I no longer need it.

I changed from Verizon to Cox and decided to purchase my own router. After reading reviews and looking at products I settled on the Netgear. It was easy to set up and has proven to be both fast and reliable.

The Netgear nighthawk was easy to install and setup using the quick guide instructions provided and the setup was easy to perform using the Netgear wizard. Very user friendly to setup and use. The performance of the wireless is excellent. I had an old Netgear N750 which would not reach far outdoors, but with this new router, I can reach outdoors with full bars. The speed that this router gives is extremely fast. Definitely would recommend the Netgear Nighthawk for anyone who is looking to upgrade their cable modem and router and needs high speed wireless and would like better wireless coverage. The price is high, but try to purchase it on sale. Also Best Buy offers a trade in for your old router or modem and they give you an additional 10% off the price. Well worth it.
