I was looking at purchasing a modem for use with Xfinity's 150 mbps network and wanted to maximize the speed I would get out of my wireless connection since I am a heavy consumer of streamed data. I read a few reviews and decided on this model, due to the speed and ability to cover my entire house. This modem was an excellent choice. I was thoroughly impressed once I set it up, all my devices connected to the 5ghz connection are actually exceeding the advertised Comcast speeds regularly pulling down 160-180 mbps. I have the router installed in my office loft on the second floor and am able to get a constant connection in my basement and outside without any issues.

Very easy to setup. Offers 4 wired access lines as well as two WiFi channels. I get the speeds I pay for and have experienced no technical issues thus far

There is only one room in my house that doesn't get as good of reception. Other than that, the signal is strong all around. This router/modem works with Comcast Xfinity Internet service, so you can install this, register the Netgear router over the phone with Comcast Xfinity and complete the setup. Send back the Comcast router and you're now saving the equipment rental fee. Keep this for a year and you'll almost make your money back, keep it for two years and you will be making money by saving the $10+ /month rental fee.

Very good modem. It does its Job well. I haven't noticed any problems or drops in connectivity. Nice strong signal throughout my 2 story 1300sqft house. Even outside in my driveway

You get what you pay for. And in this case it is good. Easy set up, and works perfect. Has it for a month now and would not take it back or trade for anythung. Totally worth the price.

This router provide a strong and stable signal for streaming video and game. Also the range is wide. It is good router and easy to setup with internet provider

This unit has worked really nice so far! Could not take paying Xfinity another month for a rental modem with a crappy signal. The Netgear set up really easy but BEWARE...having Xfinity then recognize it and update your account is a whole other process of frustration. So far, speed has been great and no connection issues at all. This is not a modem if you have telephone service as well so keep that in mind. Feel like the cost is still high especially with how fast technology needs updating.

We knew we needed a hardware upgrade for a couple of years. We went from an Asus voice/modem from Xfinity and Linksys router, to THIS amazing Netgear modem/router combo! Who needs a landline anymore? After Speedtest, our Xfinity speeds are faster & more efficient! Perfect for working from home, browsing, videos, streaming with the dual bands! We don't have any gamers in the household. VERY EASY to setup & manage users on network!

Works great had no issues at all setting up. Increased my network performance 3 fold. The range is great. I havent faced any connection drops yet, will keep monitoring

We needed a faster, more powerful modem router combo for our home because our new home is more spread out than the two story house we moved from and we also ran into problems with our previous router not having enough channels for all the devices we were connecting. Now with this upgraded Nighthawk combo we don't need any WiFi Extender, downloads are smoother, and connections have been flawless!

I’m glad I went with this one. It works great & zero issues. Also, it was easy to set up!

Bought the Nighthawk AC1900 Cable Modem Router a month ago. I was able to install it myself as I was anticipating cutting the cord with my cable carrier. It went off without a hitch with the cooperation of the cable company. I found that it was powerful enough not to need any extenders or mesh for my house. As a result, I see that the picture is much clearer than with the Comcast Cable Modem. It is very fast and I have cut the cord from cable for almost a month. Have been very happy.

Easy to set up and use with xfinity. Coverage good throughout the house (2 floors). It extends well around the house outside. Very happy with it.

This seems to be a great router/modem combo device at a somewhat reasonable cost that is easy to set-up and use. I just got Spectrum 200 mbps service installed and this router handles it easily and we can have at least 3 devices using it simultaneously without slowing anything down. It replaced an older router/modem that just wasn't working as well with the new speed. And it can handle faster speeds should I ever need to up my mbps. No issues with it.

Purchased after I cut my Comcast Cable. Although info I read online indicated that this could be activated without calling Comcast, this was not the case for me. Excellent performance. This allows you to achieve the 150 Mbps speed advertised by Comcast - the routers they supply don't. There is no noticeable decrease in performance when multiple devices are in use. No drop out or stalled buffeting when streaming video. Internet speed performance is faster than my work. I should have bought this years ago.

Love the customization options with the nighthawk app and online account! Perfect for my needs; in fact, probably a little overkill. I have 500 mbps download and 50 mbps upload and covers my entire apartment (900 sqft). Definitely beats renting a router from an ISP.

Great modem/router combo. I’m not very tech savvy but this was very easy to set up. We have great speed never any buffering even during peak hours

After researching several options (I mostly checked out Arris, TPlink, and Netgear), I took the plunge and tried this out. Really easy setup, no more drops in service. I had such HORRIBLE service from Xfinity over the years and they could never figure out what was wrong, dropped and spotty service constantly. It was their modems, that I was paying to rent. Anyway, I’ve had this Netgear for a few months now and NO MORE problems. I also dropped my service to 60 mbps and I always get well over that with this modem (I’m not a techy, the modem may not matter, but I think it does)
