Although I've received great improvement in both up/and download speeds, an odd problem cropped up soon after purchase. At infrequent intervals the unit starts to hum and increases to a buzz. By turning on a desk light near and on the same circuit as the router, the noise instantly stops. turning off the light ,the router remains quiet until the next occurrence maybe a day or a week later. I've been in touch with the Techs at Netgear but so far any suggested remedies have failed.

Way worth the purchase price ather than having to "rent" one from your cable company. Easy to connect setup install. Overall range seems to work great.

My old router was not getting me the speeds i need. So I upgrade my service and upgrade router. I like this router it has hit speeds of over 100 MB but has never hit what I pay for with time warner cable of close to 200MB

So far this is working great for me, I don’t do a lot of WiFi stuff but for what I do use it’s great

I bought this unit to replace the horrible device that my cable ISP had for lease. This was the first time I've purchased a modem router rather than leasing one. It's been almost a year that I've had it in use and this unit has been solid, stable, and has never failed me once. I don't live in a large place, so I don't need something that provides vast wifi coverage, but all rooms in my 800 square foot apartment gets strong wifi coverage from it. I have a mix of devices that are wired and wireless and all connect perfectly each time with no speed issues caused by the device. I do believe that I made the right choice when I bought this Netgear unit and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy their own modem router rather than use what a cable ISP provides.

Seems to work just fine. Had to replace older router to meet new requirements of Sparklight provider.

Great modem once I got it setup. Took a little time to get going but worth it. Works great with Xfinity.

This router/modem combo (in my opinion) helps to reduce issues in video games that require an internet connection, such as disconnecting and lag. And it helps save money over time because it has a modem inside it.

Works great. Very easy to set up. Just had to make one quick phone call to Xfinity to have them resend the signal.

it is dual band and with good performance. working good for last 2 years and still running

Works well in my two story house - my old one struggled. Set-up includes an update to Xfinity, avoiding another phone call.

Needed to update our modem and wifi. Was pleased to find this combo product which cuts down on the clutter. It only cost a little bit more than just the modem by itself. Do be aware that if one of the components fails (modem or wifi) you will be replacing both. However, I have never had a modem or wifi fail. More than likely, they will not be replaced due to failure but obsolescence. Modem speed is excellent and wifi coverage is also good! Easy to install!

Modem works great! Signal is the best it’s been in our house and the kids are loving it. Would recommend!!

Get it.. it works great and does everything that that it says. Has 2.4 and 5gb ranges that work seamlessly.
