This modem/router provided the excess bandwidth needed to increase not only the distance that a device could connect, but the speed of the devices. I have a three story house and no longer need any extenders. My family and I have 3 smart tvs, 4 laptops, network printer, an iPad, PS4, and multiple-muliple family members that come over at once and use their phones on the network. The speed and distance in connection remain the same; full bars each time. I'd highly recommend this Modem/Router.

Works great! Good range and speed, and definitely worth it versus renting a modem from Xfinity. I detached the base from it so that I could neatly mount this on the side of my cabinet and out of sight, but the base is connected to the modem with a headless screw. So I used brute and twisting force to get it off, nearly breaking it. A simple phillips head screw would have been much better.

Just signed up for RCN 250 Mbps service. The modem/router they provided for 10/month was horrible. The signal strength was extremely poor even in the same room and upstairs was horrible. speeds upstairs were reduced to 30 Mbps. This router was top rated and will pay for itself in 20 months. Signal and speed are great throughout 2 story colonial. Very happy with the purchase!

I am by no means tech savvy, picked this up for my new place to keep things simple. set up was a breeze, performance has met all my needs. with everything going wifi based these days, I haven't noticed any issues with my multitude of devices all connected.

Easy hookup . fast WiFi. Very long range. Notice less droppage with the added channels

This router was an upgrade from a similar router/modem from the same manufacturer. It worked fine. The router itself was easy to setup, but as always, a pain working with Spectrum Customer Service to activate it. The limitation was the speed of the internet service and not the router/modem, as speed tests showed an improvement. The only way to eliminate the problem was to switch to another internet provider. I'm so glad I did, as it's way faster, customer service is SO much more supportive and costs significantly less.

I was looking for a cable modem and also wanting to upgrade from a 2010 wireless router. I found this awesome combo to help with my needs and it was on sale! Couldn't be more happier with the performance of this!!! I Was not a fan of of Netgear 13 years ago because the router I had then didn't want to stay connected and just terrible. But Netgear has defiantly picked up their game since then and had no connection drops of any kind!!!

I was originally shopping for a Netgear Router for my Time Warner (Spectrum) internet service (my older modem could not accommodate the increased speeds) and ended up with an all in one on the recommendation of the salesperson who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The Modem/Router performs well but I have had to reboot it 2-3 times since purchase. I typically stick with Netgear products and the only concern is they seem to die about the 2 year mark. I decided to go the all in one router and purchased the extended warranty since this was on sale and the warranty was a wash. It is nice not having as much clutter using the all in one unit.

Upgraded the GF to Spectrum and went with the 200Mbps plan. I picked out this unit due to her having space constraints and a security camera dvr location that needed to be hard wired into the modem/router. Setup and configuration was a breeze and we were up and running in about 5 minutes after talking to Spectrum (a chore in itself). Great combo unit getting ~210 down and 11 up. I am please and so is the GF (she can stream all her shows without buffering).

So I recently purchased this combo to upgrade some equipment that was only a couple of years old. I was having an issue with my download speed not exceeding 90mbps and from what Comcast said I was capable of 200+ in my area. Once I installed this new combo, which was very simple and didn't take more than 10mins. I ran a speed test and was at 243mbps on a hard line devices and averaged near the same on 5GHz wireless. The 2.5GHz wireless averaged around 150mbps. My coverage is good as well but, my place is only around 1200sqft / one story.

Bought this for personal home Wi-Fi router and very satisfied with my purchase. It works very well with my internet plan. It is dual band is very powerful helps it run in multiple devices at the same time which saves some money to buy the extension routers for you home as this one would be enough. Also, definitely a decent price for the quality of the product compare to other stores.

We've had the router for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. It's actually has a stronger signal than the one from the Wave broadband. Easy to set up and I did have to call my cable company, the instructions lead you to think you can do all on your own but in this case with Wave I had call them for the final connection. It's working great and I think it is well worth the money!

It's a great router, fits the needs of a family of 6 with every device connected, as well as guests. I have hardly any issues with it, until about 2 years later, then we had to replace it. Not bad really with all the abuse we put it through, like, using the wifi 20 hours out of the day. We use smart devices all over our house as well as gaming computers running, this is a tank of a router.

The sales person recommended this modem/router combination for my home - 3 floors plus basement and 13 devices (cell phones plus computer/ipads) that could access the internet. So far it's been working great. I ordered the 60 Mbps from Xfinity and with this modem/router have been able to achieve 55.5 Mbps in actual use. The standard band (58) has more range than the other band (5g) but the 5g band is better for cell phones.

Bought this to save money on the equipment rental charge I get from my internet provider. Easiest modem/router I have ever setup in my life. I’ve tested my up/download speeds and it has gone up ever since I installed this item. I haven’t had any issues or family members complain about WiFi speeds lacking or range issues. I can be out in my shed and still get 3 WiFi bars on both my phone or laptop. Don’t hesitate to buy this.

I love this. My computer is connected via Ethernet so I didn't see an increase in speed, but my son uses the wireless connection on his gaming machine and this is much faster for him than the Comcast provided gateway we had. The increased range is what I love - I haven't tested it's limits but it keeps surprising me - husband was taking pics with on his phone out in the field and I saw them all before he could walk back to the house - straight to a shared dropbox folder.

Pumps out a good signal, has plenty of speed, and works with most internet companies. Pretty easy setup and maintenance as well.

I've owned this product for almost a month and have had an amazing experience ever since. I was not getting near the speeds I was supposed to be so I bought this modem/router. It improved my streaming and gaming speeds tremendously. Finally I am getting the speeds that I've been paying my internet provider for these past months. Setup was simple and quick! I bought this when it was on sale so I got kind of lucky.
