Good overall deal

It seems more stable than the other modem Cox was renting me for $9.99+Tax a month, and then its not even mine after the payments are made in full. The only so called advantage to renting was that they would replace the unit if it failed or if needed upgrading. BUT, Best Buy has a warranty and they would do the same if needed, but at least I own it.

So Far So Good!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -Quick ethernet speeds for gaming -Quick Wifi speeds -Upstream buffering doesn't seem to cause this one to reset Cons: -Base isn't heavy so the wires/cables can cause the gateway to twist or lean -Setup took awhile and was cumbersome because you basically have to use the app to setup the gateway

Great product, horrible warranty

This extender has been serving me well...then why do I not recommend it? Their warranty services are a joke! If you do get anything from them, please do yourself a favor and get the in-store protection plan. 90 days and then having to pay a high price for just for over the phone help alone is ridiculous.
