    I had bought one of these 2 years ago when I bought my house and the cable was re-installed at our new place. It saved me money on my cable bill and is an excellent replacement. So this one I bought for my mom, also saving money on the cable bill and is working perfectly!

    I bought an Arris Surfboard 1900 router before this and it was merely pulling 70 MB on wifi over a 200 MB connection. Their support couldn't figure out what was wrong and showed almost no interest in solving the issue. Returned it and got Netgear. I'm on average pulling 190 MB on wifi with 220 at times. I'm glad i made the switch. Highly recommended.

    Replaced our Xfinity modem with this Nighthawk and have much better connections- still lose the internet some and have to reconnect, but that’s the poor service, not the modem issue. Good value for price paid and money saver in the end as I no longer have to pay “rent” each month to cable service.

    So far, so good. I'm glad to have a duo modem/router. It was not an easy set up but that was Spectrum's problem, not Netgear. Also, sometimes wants the password I created and sometimes wants the password on the side of the device. I learned the hard way to try both.

    the router modem in my home probably carries more wi fi as any other home. aside from my desktop, a laptop 3 TV's 2 echo devices as well as a sonos sound board and a couple of smart light, what else can i add but a ring doorbell. It does the job. the outages that occur come from my cable proviider and not from the device.

    We purchased this NetGear as our old router and modem was not working well, going off all the time. Didn't know which one it was so we purchased this Netgear that had the router and modem combined. So far it is working and we are not losing internet connection all the time.
