    I had to get a new modem because the same model I had had gone bad after ALMOST 4 years. This time I also purchased the 4 year warranty. It only increased $20 since my initial purchase 4 years earlier.

    product never worked. After multiple attempts, restarts and calls to support it would show as being online& connected to the internet, yet none of my devices were able to get online. Finally gave up and reinstalled my old outdated equipment. Returning and getting my money back.

    We bought this modem to replace the Suddenlink modem that we were getting charged $10 for. It was horrible and couldn't handle the bandwidth of just a few items. It had finally died after not even a year. Since getting this one, we haven't had any problems with the wifi.
