Great Modem/Router for Cox users that want dual band with 5G. Gaming on the 5G with 2G set aside for general use is my setup.

this is very good and my internet speed is so fast.

We had a older netgear (The 900) before and hoped that by buying this one that we would get better Internet a router and modem that we could reduce All the extra cords behind our couch. We have cox so we went to the cox sight and it was cited as being able to upgrade to a higher internet package . From the 150 to the 300. Well after installing which was not simple like all past modems to trying to install the new genie app (which is very poor, no support by phone email or chat) we Also had to speak with cox to reassign the service to anew modem. That was hours of with time on the phone and the chat line. Cox informed us that it was not upgradeable to the increased speed . And after a month of use we can say it was not worth it. Just keeping the equipment now so we can give the old stuff to our college age kid or senior mom for some start up or replacement equipment. No increase in speed at all and we did internet speed tests with old modem and new. Will not by a netgear in the future.

Easy to set up on your own as long as you know your login and password for your internet. Just call our provider to get that. Love the night hawk modems and routers. Don't expect anything from netgear customer service. Without giving them your credit card number, which is why we bought the geek squad program instead for $20.

This router works really well with cable and internet.

Wanted a dual band modem/router combination and got a great one with this unit. Works well throughout our 2800 sq ft, one story house. Dual bands ensure that there is no interference. Pricey? You bet...but you get what you pay for--and we wanted reliability and dependability. Have had no signal issues since we hooked it up!

this device was a huge upgrade over my providers device.
