Overall this was a great purchase. Great for saving some extra money from Comcast now that I no longer need to rent their device. Gave the product 4 stars mainly because it wasn’t the easiest to setup

Works good. Wifi isnt as great but it gets the job done. Buy a separate router if you're looking for better wifi.

Had a comcast modem previously that could compete with all the devices on my network, this one works great for the 10 devices I have on my network

I'm sure it's an excellent product for somebody more tech savvy than me. I never got past the 'change password ' prompt; like it was stuck. Gave up when I couldn't think of any more passwords.

I bought this in August, and at first, it worked fine, but about 2 1/2 months after purchasing, it started to freeze up, drop Wi-Fi connections, and I was having to reboot it 5 times a day. I work from home and so I need a reliable modem and did not want to lease from Comcast. I have bought netgear modems before. The NetGear customer support is horrible and a scam. So you get 90 days complimentary support. And a year warranty on parts. I contacted their support witihin the 90 days, and so a ticket was opened, they wanted screen shots, then I would send them if I could get them because half the time I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi or internet to work to get the screenshots, and the final thing said was try a Comcast modem and see if that works after reading the screenshot. Okay, I told them, and they closed the ticket and that was after the 90 days warranty period is over. So I called them to tell them another modem works. I have to pay for technical support now. They said it’s a new issue and they can’t reopen a new ticket and the complimentary period is over. In researching this and other netgear models, there is a firmware update that netgear knows about that they can push out to you, but you can’t do it yourself. So they wait until they can charge you the fee to “fix” it by doing the firmware update. Buy the warranty with Best Buy if you want to take your chances with this piece of crap modem. I am glad I did. They should investigate Netgear because I feel it’s a scam to get more money. They shouldn’t even sell them.

Great purchase and lives up to its name. We have 5 people on multiple devices and we are able to go throughout the two story home and yard without losing wifi signal.

Overall isn't not totally bad. The nighthawk app requires firmware 1.03. Spectrum and other providers only have V1.02 so it won't work. Box says it works with Spectrum and the modem itself will work but not mobile/app. If you want to control away from home, this is not the combo for you.

As usual, BestBuy give me the price match to get this expensive but good modem.i have been using Netgear for many years...and this one has 4 connecting port!

This modem router has worked well thus far. I have noticed an improvement in streaming consistency and website loading quality on my smartphone. I have no complaints as of yet.

Dependable, powerhouse Router and no more modem charges! Wish I had made the decision to purchase 2 years ago!

Very simple self-installation of this Modem/WiFi Router. Works great. Covers our entire property (and then some).

I brought this item to use with comcast I have not had any issues with it so far and I can monitor who is using my wifi and block any access to certain sites. It's a good investment to make.

This router gives us great reception no matter where we are in our 2500 sqft home. With an extender I even get great reception in our garage.

I bought this to improve my wifi coverage in a larger 2 story home. I couldn't be happier with its performance above and beyond the equipment provided by xfinity.

Works awesome, great Wifi throughout the house and actually saved myself $10/month since I was renting one from Cox. Works better than the one I was paying to rent.

Excellent!! I ended up returning it because it wasn’t what I needed, but it was excellent while I was running it.

Have multiple wireless devices, including apple and net gear. All connect with no issues. As a cable modem setup was simple.

Truthfully I returned this because I ended up going another route but it seems to be a good device and I got it at a good price when I bought it!

Amazing best to replace what your local provider gives you. 3400 square ft house and everyone receives a wireless signal
