    Told the clerk we were having fiber installed at our house and needed a new router. She pointed us to this one. Sounded good. Took it home and the installed said it was the wrong product. So we had to drive to another store to get what we needed, It is 1.5 hours one-way to Best Buy. So, we wasted 6 hours. We have no idea how this product works because it never came out of the box,

      Most fiber internet services will not need a modem. You can purchase a stand alone router.
