I would still reccomend, but there may be others that are cheaper that work as well.

For this price, it should work flawlessly. Wifi speeds are pathetic. I pay for 400Mbs. This puts out no more than 315 on a good day and only 1 device connected. As advertised, there are minimal setting to adjust. Believe it. It took me over 30 minutes to set up and add modem to Xfinity. I had better and more reliable connectivity with my SB6190 and Orbi.

It drops the internet entirely to much. It’s not as great an item it’s suppose to be.

This is a great modem for the size of our house I would recommend this product to my friends

Worst regret of my life!!!!!! After one month of working, this piece of junk disconnects every 15 minutes!! I have purchased a Motorola modem and assumed it was Comcast. Comcast required my entire house - NO CHANGE. Contacted Motorola - says it’s router issue. GUESS WHAT NETGEAR IS GARBAGE! Google netgear router disconnects and you will find thousands of complaints!! All these positive reviews MUST BE EMPLOYEES! Every day and many hours later - no resolution. Employees just want you off the phone and for your 90 days warranty to be over. I have switched channels, new wiring, updated firmware, adjusted settings YOU NAME IT!! YET THIS WASTE OF MONEY IS MY BIGGEST REGRET!!!

Spent $200 to have a router that disconnects devices multiple times per day with the only fix being a complete reboot. Random power cycling also happens once every couple days. Contacted support about the issue. No help from them. After some research I found out these routers are notorious for this. Fell victim to the posotive reviews on Best Buy site. If I wouldn't have bought this so early for my son's birthday, I would have been able to take it back. Will never buy another Netgear product.

Needed to upgrade my wi fi / modem router have been very pleased with service so far. App is not user friendly at all. Only downside

Works as described. Range is marginal though so in a bigger house you will need an extender.

I'm not sure yet. I needed a router in order to get internet connection at my house.

Keeps going in and out . Spotty performance at best, do not recommend.

It's OK. Don't notice difference from cable equipment but at least no more monthly fees.

Terrible at being able to make sure All ports aren't open by default. Internal firewall is absolute sh1t. The ISPs are supposed to help protect their nets, but in a DDoS situation this device and the ISP are just terrible. I would jot recommend this product.

It's ok not as fast as I expected maybe it's just comcast services

I bought it last month. I use home internet and work little backwards.

Had to keep resetting the unit. Very inconvenient especially with a home business.

Confusing to set up , can be a bit of a pain to connect to WiFi .

This item was better on the financial side than renting.

Hook up was easy but after a couple of hours the unit kept disconnecting from my WIFI and computer. Had to return it. Called the Netgear people and they said other people were having the same problem and they were looking into it.
