    Bought this unit as the internet speed was very slow. Once installed the speed jumped to 140 mbps from 30 mbps.

    I purchased this Router to replace an existing router/modem I had in my home. I love that this one is dual band and allowed for me to setup 2 separate wireless connections, so that all my devices in the house are not connected directly to one connection. A couple of times it seemed as if one of my wireless networks had issues and I would have to reconfigure it, but I haven't had this issue in several months now.

    This is my second time to to upgrade my modem. I originally had the TimeWarner Cable modem and purchased my own to have better control over my network. I found i had much better throughput and reliability with that unit. I then upgraded my service package to 200x20 which required me to get this modem. I have been extremely happy with this unit. I get the speeds i am paying for, I have noticed less dropped connections and an overall better network performance.

    I was assured that this would provide strong, reliable WiFi signals for the whole family, and this Netgear Nighthawk has not disappointed. Four of us are home, Zooming, streaming content, or just reading on-line, and all signals are strong across our entire house, no matter how far you are away from the unit. This was a great choice for an upgrade! I definitely recommend it!
