    I've been renting from Comcast for the last 10 years and now replaced theirs with the Netgear. The Nighthawk works fairly well but doesn't have as much signal strength as the Comcast modem. I also had to work hard to get my Wemo smart plug connected. The WPS button is not lit and so a little confusing, but will work if you're persistent. The 2.4 GHz band didn't seem to work well with much, so very little is connected with that one.

    I bought this for a friend so she could stop renting the equipment from Xfinity. I got this on sale at a great price. In-fact when I bought it online it did not give me the sale price. When I picked it up the sales person gave me an even better deal than the sale price. It was very easy to connect to the system and Xfinity had no problem getting it up and running.
