    Very good item when it works. Performed well for a year. Mine failed exactly 4 days after the year warranty expired. To be honest I’m very mad about it. The whole purpose of paying over $200 for this was to save money in the long run of ownership. Renting the equipment from my ISP is $120/year so I thought I would save money by just buying this. I certainly expected it to last longer than a year. I was wrong. If you feel like you must buy this, get you an extended warranty plan. Netgear also doesn’t push available and approved software updates to the modem. They claim your ISP does that automatically. I called my ISP and found out that was a lie.
