    Having the modem and router with the two available frequencies is great. It seems more stable than the other modem Cox was renting me for $9.99+Tax a month, and then its not even mine after the payments are made in full. The only so called advantage to renting was that they would replace the unit if it failed or if needed upgrading. BUT, Best Buy has a warranty and they would do the same if needed, but at least I own it.

    New computer would not recognize Xfinity's Arris modem. I spent three days trying to get it to work, but no go. After two replacement modems by Xfinity I decided to try this one. No problems working great. Im not sure why Comcast is using a modem that isnt compatible with theyre service. Just Comcasts way I guess.
