    did a lot of research on modem for xfinity so i can have my own and not pay monthly extra on using there equipment. The modem is very fast, has 4 gigabit ethernet output and a usb 2.0 port. perfect for you to connect to other equipment like the arlo base. Yes I would recommend this modem if you want to save money in the long run.
