    I bought this so I wouldn't have to rent one from the internet suppliers. Month-to-month renting one adds up and then you still never own it. I've been using it for over a year now and it has had no problems. It is actually nice to have everything in one piece; modem and router. It's Compact and doesn't take much space. Overall I would definitely suggest purchasing this to anyone looking to start up new internet service.

    I had bought one of these 2 years ago when I bought my house and the cable was re-installed at our new place. It saved me money on my cable bill and is an excellent replacement. So this one I bought for my mom, also saving money on the cable bill and is working perfectly!

    So far, so good. I'm glad to have a duo modem/router. It was not an easy set up but that was Spectrum's problem, not Netgear. Also, sometimes wants the password I created and sometimes wants the password on the side of the device. I learned the hard way to try both.
