    Initially purchased this modem but had to return it. Not due to the item, but because I selected the incorrect modem (didn't work w/ my internet provider). Very important to make sure that it's compatible. I replaced it w/ the same brand (but got the DOCSIS 3.1 version). Best Buy assoicate was helpful!

    the router modem in my home probably carries more wi fi as any other home. aside from my desktop, a laptop 3 TV's 2 echo devices as well as a sonos sound board and a couple of smart light, what else can i add but a ring doorbell. It does the job. the outages that occur come from my cable proviider and not from the device.
