Our prior router was about three years old and I knew that we needed to upgrade for the data flowing into our family's four smart phones and other devices. The nighthawk did the job, and now we don't have issues with our phone plan's data limits.

If it weren't for Comcast/Xfinity there is no telling how easy this process now is. You have to call Xfinity and give them the modem/router number which is a real-time killing pain in the rear end.

I've been using this wireless box. So far so good. I have no complaints. What I can say is I'm saving almost $200 a year by having my own box.

I had to return this because it didn't work. Cox said it wasn't compatible with my service plan. I have the middle tier internet service. I'm sure it's a great product with a compatible internet service plan. I exchanged it for the 1750 which works great!

This item Works well. Have been using for some time.

Replaced the Spectrum modem with this modem and have not had any down time since. The Spectrum modem would have to be restarted 4 to 9 times a dsy.

The Nighthawk was easy to set up, modem is stable (significantly better than the Xfinity), router covers the entire home without extension, and supports multiple devices/users easily. Highly recommend

I had been looking at many different routers but this is by far the best one I’ve gotten and have yet to have any issues. I got this to replace my comcast router/modem and my internet has been great with this, especially with gaming.

I replaced my Moto Docsis 3 modem and old Linksys Router with this combo unit. My 5 gb wireless speeds to my iPad went from an average of 24 mbps to an average of 75 and the 2.4 gb wireless greatly increased. Now I can take advantage of Xfinity at its finest.

This is a great modem/router. For the price and ease of setup.

Do not buy. Slow, unreliable, does not last. I've had three or four of these 2-in-1 modem + router of this exact same Netgear Nighthawk and luckily I bought BestBuy protection for all of them but the first one. The one that lasted the longest worked for 2 years; the last one I had only lasted a month. I pay for 600+ mbs from Comcast and this Nighthawk was only getting up to 60 mbs even when connected with a cable to my new laptop. I installed another modem and boom - my speed went up to 750+ mbs when connected with a cable. A better way to go is to have a separate nodem and a separate router. They last longer and provide more reliable speeds.

Its work very good and keeps up with all we load on it

I have not noticed any problems with latency while gaming under heavy usage loads of 6 plus devices connected with multiple streaming video and playing online multiplayer games. Excellent router!

Very easy to setup especially for Comcast customers

Has fixed all problems with connections in remote locations.
