This is an excellent router for the internet. It’s definitely worth the money because it’s quite expensive. However, while this can also be used as a cable modem, it will not work with ALL cable companies. It will not work with mine, Suddenlink, as I was hoping.

Bought this instead of using xfinity box since this router is compatible with xfinity plus I own it and no monthly fee.

1st bought a Lynksis router for $300 or so. Signal/ wifi not reaching all of our 5K square foot home and Suddenlink recommended the Netgear. Seems to be working fine.

This item is good for someone that needs a modem/router combo that needs a phone jack. Has 2 channels and had no problem connecting to it once xfinity was finished connecting the service.

I bought this to replace me spectrum rental. This is faster and covers the whole house without boosters

Purchased for Xfinity wifi package on recommendation of Best Buy associate. After using a month with so-so performance, Xfinity said this router/modem does not support the speeds in my widi internet plan (1200 Mbps). I upgraded to the next higher model. Performance is not much better. I don't trust Xfinity, but this modem/router is not recommended by Xfinity for high speed package.

I replaced by Motorola SBG 6580 with this model and haven't looked back. Better upload speeds, more consistent downloads, and a far superior user interface make this product a winner (Netgear Genie is superb).

i purchase this item because i need to get rid of the cable modem and the bill that i was paying for. Since then this router/cable modem works good and gives me better reception all around the house. Thank you

Never used the item since my ISP charges hundreds of dollars to use your own router. Have owned netgear routers before and would purchase again if a switch providers.

Basically, I’m ok with the WIFI signal strength, but compared with other high end product line nighthawk AC1900 (which I used before), this machine not equip with 2.4G/5G auto selection, and no option to turn off all LEDs for power saving. So... just 4 stars

I had already tried a big handful of routers, but none were of our satisfaction. Finally, we decided to get this modem and router combo, and we have no complaints about our wireless internet, now. Thanks Nighthawk

My old modem was giving out so I bought this. It was very easy to install. The wifi range reached all the way to my living room that I no longer needed the extender

Works great. My router took a crap and this is a great upgraded replacement!! Have multiple devices connected to it and the app shows them all so easy

Prior to purchasing this modem/router, I had the entry level surfboard combo, which the router died on just 18 months into owning it. This has superior wireless broadcasting compared to the model I had before. Very pleased with it. My advice? Spend the extra money the first time around.

Because of many "smart" devices in my home, I wanted a stronger system. This was an easy install and I have been happy with Netgear products for years.

Since I am not very good with computers and stuff I had a friend help me install it today. We had some minor problems, but it’s working now and so far no issues

My daughter set it up for me, stated it was not difficult to install and set up. Your employee answered all my questions and his suggestions were spot on. I'm very pleased with his assistance.
