My internet connection has always been slower with the Comcast modem and router. I got this and replaced the Comcast equipment and now my connection is so much faster. Don't think - just get it!

It works, easy to install but might just upgrade to a better one.

Our wifi seems to be better throughout the house, especially upstairs. We are working at home — like most people, it seems — and we really needed an improvement. It’s only been a month, so we’ll see how it goes.

Purchased router to install internet. Had to have representative from Xfinity come to install as we had problems but he did get it connected.

Love it helps give us better control of our kids. Each individual device can be shut off depending on who hasn’t done school work/ chores.

I have had it for over a year and a half now and it works very well. Haven't had any trouble with it at all. I use it with my Comcast account.

This wireless cable modem has a major improvement over the cable modem I was renting from Xfinity! No dropouts.

it works fine, definitely getting a better wireless signal/speed. setup was fairly easy once i selected setup modem instead of wireless router during the setup process in the app lol

This is probably the best router I have ever used. I have installed several routers in commercial and private homes and this one by far tops them all. You definitely get what you pay for.

First let me say i don't write reviews but the whole reason for this review is how scammed I felt that it suddenly stopped working after a short period of time and was treated poorly after customer service. This Modem worked great for less than a year, then suddenly it began having “non hardware issues”. Netgear customer support was not helpful, after being on hold for over an hour, they insisted they knew what was going on but would not explain further and just kept stating i needed to pay between 50-100 dollars for their “extended tech support.” I informed him i was not going to pay it and he just kept going on about it. I finally asked to speak with a manager and suddenly he stated he could not hear me and hung up the phone. (Despite the fact they took my number to call back in case we became disconnected, i never revived another call.) I then found other stories online of netgear customers having the same issues. Rather than trying it again I am leaving this review and going to purchase a new modem in the morning.

This unit is working great. I am on Mediacom internet and they had to reset the modem twice in two weeks. I think it was on there side and not with this unit. It is handling 2 tablets, 2 phones, and Roku streaming.

Good product definitely would suggest!! Best bang for the buck

Rather difficult to install for a novice but the help from Netgear helped a lot .

Netgear has always been my choice in routers. I bought this for my father. I does what I expected. A better than average router/modem combo that gets the job done.

Amazingly fast Router. The Neatgear Nighthawk allows rapid processing for my household that has 2-IPhones, 5-smart TV’s, 1-PC, and a laptop. Best router I have ever owned!

Got tired of renting a cox modem for 9.99 a mnt, instead opted to buy this modem router, did blew my expectations i gotta say.

Love it!! I’ve purchased 2 others until I came across this one. No more WiFi issues and no more Xfinity contract!

I purchased this modem considering it being recommended by xfinity. I am holding it for almost one month now, I get decent speed. Only problem that I have is it keeps disconnecting my internet connection. Overall I am satisfied with quality I get for the price.

Easy setup, only took 10 minutes and most of that time was spent on the phone with my internet provider getting the router Added to my account. The device did develop a loud humming after a couple weeks though.
