    I purchased this because I did not want to pay for the 8.99 monthly rental fee from Comcast. A friend recommended to me. It is pricey but it will pay for itself in the end. No issues as of yet.

    This modem/router combo is excellent! No complaints. Very easy to set up! It doesn't drop the WiFi like my old Motorola modem/router combo.

    With all the home wifi usage it's just what we needed, kids can game, stream on tablets/phone while we can stream movies on Netflix or Amazon at the same time without the lagging.

    My first router/modem combo. Bought to work with Spectrum internet. So far I’m very happy with it. The Netgear Genie app isn’t great though.

    These routers should be easier to set up. And come with a warning that your provider may take quite some time recognizing the equipment.
