    I was a little disappointed when I bought this router. I was able to use my 3Tb "book" backup drive on my old router but this router will not even recognize the external drive. I had to use a "dumb" drive (passport) as the only HDD it would recognize. For the cost of the router I was expecting better not worse. Other then that I reserve judgment until I have ran it for a few more months
