    This router never worked properly. I have a 300Mbps connection at home and this router never pushed above 10Mbps. I originally thought it was a problem on Comcast's end but they checked everything multiple times and said there were no issues. I had this router for a little over a year. And like i said it never got me the speeds i was paying for but i dealt with it anyways. It held up for about 13 months then the speeds became unbearable to the point where i couldn't even download much less load web-pages. I figured it completely gave out. Super disappointed because i have never had a problem with netgear for many years until i bought this model. Maybe it was a defect. But i bought a Arris and i am sold on Arris its 100 times better than this model and 150 dollars cheaper.

    For the price I would have expected more. I purchased this now for working at home. Many things I do for work need to stay private. This modem does not allow you to load a VPN. Other than that it is okay. Even though my internet speed is at 1000 mb I could never get this modem over 250mb unless I used an extender router. I would get speeds about 600mb.
