Bought this roughter but didn’t work with provider.

Need more modem for a home full of phones and computers

Had to return because it was impossible to connect to spectrum even though it says it’s compatible. I do this kind of setup all the time pretty easily, but not me nor the spectrum technician were able to install it...

Didn’t need it and had to return because the house had fiber-optic run to it. Would have been nice to know before I bought it that you don’t need a modem for fiber-optic, merely a router.

Have no problem with router. Works good. Internet great.

I don’t know If this impacts performance but it runs really really hot and I’ve lost connections many times with direct connection. So I can only give 3/5 because I can’t eliminate it as a problem. I didn’t have it with my old system.

Perfect combination, easy set up, works well with spectrum

This is a reliable router and I’m saving money by owning it rather than renting from the cable company. My internet usage is basic for work. I don’t need fast speed. It’s stable.

This was recommended when our 5 year old router died. Never had an issue with the old one keeping up and now this one that is supposed to be much better lags a lot with only 1 TV trying to steam a movie and nothing else running wifi.

Improved my home wifi but video calls and tv streaming simultaneously were still glitchy with 250mbps internet.

Netgear - Nighthawk Ac1900 Dual-band Router with modem crashes if it gets hot, like in summer time. Have to use small fan continuously to keep it cool. Have to reset many times. Time Warner Cable subscriber.

Easy setup with no assistance. A little large footprint.

It was working fine until one week later I could not get online and I got the message "server DNS address could not be found” error and none of the three browsers would connect anywhere. I unplugged the router and the problem fixed itself. A week later it happened again at night while I was working online and it took Netgear technical support to tell me the numbers and technique to redo the DNS addresses. This had never happened to me before with a modem router of any brand and much less with the cable company router. It makes me uneasy especially when the free tech support runs out. PS there is no power level control.

Wasn’t sure what the issue was but I was having so many problems with my ISP and I was told I could buy my own router. I did just that and it never was able to connect so I had to return it.
