Returning this for a Asus

Not reliable internet speed via Speedtest.net UI interface suck. Bought a Asus modem + router that support faster speed and more bond channel and 2x the range. Will be returning this!!

Don't buy Netgear Nighthawk Router/modem Combo!

Even though the box says that it is compatible, it is not. It worked for about three weeks and then it needed a firmware update. Spectrum would not send the update because they did not own the equipment. Netgear refused to help and said that it is a spectrum issue. I explained that spectrum wouldn't help. After two times of calling both places I am returning this item for store credit. Do yourself a favor and use a spectrum modem and buy a mesh system like Eeros. This product is crap. The customer service is crap. And they don't deserve your hard earned money.

Buy a different one

Some modems work and some don’t!

I would not recommend any Netgear product I bought it based on the reviews Of how great the performance was. I guess it’s hit or miss with these things some people get good ones and some people get bad ones.

Only boosts connection speed slightly

Can be in the same room with the router on WIFI and the connection speed is slightly better than Spectrum router while on VPN but not good enough for the price.

Decent

I live in a one story 1500 sqft house and it weakens dramatically even at 20 ft! Netgear's customer support is also no big help.
