Easy set up, great coverage in 2200 sqft two story

My fiancé is a huge gamer and this router/modem helps us keep up with his games and every other device we use as well!

Once received, it was determined it was not compatible with my Internet provider and was returned for refund. Best Buy was quick on the refund and their IT guys were very helpful.

I was misinformed when I bought this and had to return it. It does not match up with Verizon. So I am back to paying rent on a router.

Works great except no phone jack for house phone. Didn’t check that out before purchasing.

Works great with my internet provider and it actually works better (further range) than the previously rented router.

The router didn’t work. I returned it to the store

Works great in the room with it but when I step away to the other side of my house it doesn’t work.

This replaces one, 1 model down that quit working.

Bought this modem router 11 months ago thinking it would be a better alternative than renting one through my ISP. Couldn't have been more wrong. Issues every few months causing me to have to factory reset it three or four times already this past year. Now it's only putting out 1 - 4 Mbps as confirmed by a couple different technicians from my ISP (the cable is putting out 1200 - 1300 Mbps of potential speed, but the modem router is consistently only delivering 1 - 4 Mbps). I called Netgear, but they said the 90-day warranty has ended already, and unless I pay an additional $140 for an extended warranty, there's nothing they can do. Absolutely garbage "support" for a $200 paperweight. Will most likely end up renting one from my ISP so at least if it stops working it can be replaced without buying another new one myself. I'll definitely be avoiding netgear products going forward.

I decided to quit monthly renting of a modem from the cable company. This unit was not the cheapest, but I thought if it lasted two years I would be even as far as renting. It doesn't seem to be quite as reliable as the Comcast modem was.

The NetGear Nighthawk dual-band router with cable modem is just what we needed to save $$$ on Xfinity rental fees.

Product was ok.. Nothing special. Had lost connectivity on several occasions , in which I had to resolve myself , as ISP would not assist with. Why??? It wasn't THEIR EQUIPMENT . Do I dare ask , why is this product on their list of approved Modems??

We bought this to replace our old router and this is super fast. Immediately we noticed a difference in speed.

The instructions were easy to read and the device set up with out an issue. The WEP button was also a big help

This combination router/modem was easy to set up and has performed well ever since, even after a power failure.

Unfortunately, along with the router I bought, my cable company said it was not compatible, so I had to return. Otherwise, I do trust this brand and would buy again under better circumstances.

Wish I could give it a 0 star, this is a device to buy if you would like to waste you time and be super annoyed all the time. Spend hours on internet troubleshooting. The product can't even hold a stable internet connection. So forget about any video conferencing or even a audio call. If you ever run into a problem, Netgear support is horrible, they will keep you on hold for hours and hope the call will get disconnected automatically. All they care is to make you pay for the support. Inspite of having a valid warranty the manufacturer is not ready to honor it and is pushing the issue to ISP. Changing to a different modem/router (loaner) is able to solve the problem. I am caught up in a tussle between ISP (xfinity) and Netgear, nobody is ready to own the issue. Now the cable modem router is useless after 6+ month usage..

The router works great and it also does WiFi for the internet. I haven’t had any problems with it either.
