Not worth project on WiFI

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I won't recommend this product, As this project has label certified with Xfinity service and can support upto 800 Mbps, but I have 800 Mbps super fast internet connection from Xfinity. Speed is extremely dropping when it on WiFi mode. (170 out of 800 Mbps) and had technician visit, and they denied the infom mentioned on product label.

Good but expensive

Overall I think this is not worth the high price than the others.

Dont buy if you have Spectrum internet

I can pull 1gbps from my cable with a different device. When I connect the Nighthawk I get 50 - 60 mbps. Super disappointed. Wasted about 2 hours on the phone with Netgear. This is only 90 days old and they told me I need to use the warranty to get a new one. Luckily I have a protection plan on it from Best buy and I'll use that and get away from Netgear.

Poor support.

The Best!

Our WIFI signal is the strongest it's ever been. The equipment that we leased from the cable company was terrible,. we would lose our signal constantly and had to sign in many times a day.

The closer i am to it, of course, the better it works.

Nighthawk Router

Tech Support is GARBAGE

Ive been trying to trouble shoot this myself because i like to think im not a total idiot but they make it VERY DIFFICULT. Can’t even get into the app because it says I have to update the firmware but the firmware is updated according to the list on Netgear site. I’m pretty disappointed by the performance as well. And the technical support is TERRIBLE. I tried to get assistance and got hung up on twice before giving up. This will be the last time I purchase netgear.

Bad so far

On my tv, the sound isn't matching the video. I believe all this is due to poor connectivity. I'm not very techy so I could've done something wrong. I hope I can figure it out, if not, I'm going back to renting from xfinity.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bough this based on the positive reviews as I have Xfinity high speed internet after setting up I wasn't getting the speeds I needed mostly half to 80% speed Can you believe pictures on website took long to show,videos buffer about ten sec and some websites won't load or open no choice but have to return i got a separate modem and router that cost twice more then this and it performs very well but on the other hand I'm going back to Verizon FiOS in a couple of months I regret leaving them for Xfinity.
