    Once I set it up at home found out it will not work with cable one service. And returned to store for refund!

    Failed after five months

    After five months, modem could no longer maintain connection to cable internet for more than 30 minutes. WiFi transmitter also seems to be failing and cannot maintain local WiFi network connections with or without internet connectivity. Reprovisioning, rebooting, and reconnecting cabling did not work. To troubleshoot, I tried an Xfi Xfinity modem/router and it worked immediately and has not lost connection once, so it doesn’t look like a signal or line issue (all new cables were installed from the pole to the router when I bought this modem five months ago). I could not reach support for warranty replacement, so this is an expensive purchase I regret. Your mileage may vary.

    This modem works as advertised. However the range is effected if you have marble or granite floors/walls.

    Loses connection every few minutes

    Worked for half the year perfectly, but now loses connection every few minutes. After inspecting the router logs, found that a DoS attack was happening. Trying to resolve the issue and did a full factory reset, but nothing. Did more researcher and found that this is a common problem with any Netgear router.

    I read reviews on this product and purchased it thinking it would work in my house. Ive been very disappointed with the buffering and Mbps output. Ive ran tests everywhere in the house even sitting 5 feet from the box and never gotten higher than 129 Mbps on any reading from the nighthawk app. Im trying to replace the xfinity modem/router combo and this isnt the answer for my place. I waited to long to bring back to Best Buy to exchange so now im stuck with a useless product.

    Great router and better than renting from com cast. 2 story house and reception good in all rooms. Had 11 people at house with phones, playing internet games and watching Netflix and transmission was great and never dropped communication.
